She was born August 26, 1935 in Kerrville, Texas, the daughter of the late Dudley Sam Cade and Marion Ruth Massey Cade. Following graduation from high school, she was married to Conrad L. Meadow in Ingram on August 5, 1955. She was a homemaker and a very active member of the First Baptist Church of Blanket. She had been a resident of Blanket for the past 20 years.

Barbara was so full of life, laughter and love. Her love of God and Jesus shone through every day of her life. Her life’s mission was to make those around her happy. No-one was a stanger, just a friend she hadn’t yet met. She loved to play games, whether it was Bunco, 42, Skip-bow or cards, she was ready to play anytime anywhere. Barbara loved adventures, traveling across the U.S., going up in a hot air balloon, and rafting down the Snake River. But most important was her family. She was very active in the First Baptist Church in Blanket, Good Samaritan Ministries, the Women’s Corp. just to name a few.
Barbara and family ask you to join them in celebrating her life. Everyone is asked to wear a hat and a big smile!

Memorial donations are requested to be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or to the First Baptist Church of Blanket.
