Barbara Ann Stuart Hart went to be with her Lord and Savior December 22, 2017. Barbara was born November 13, 1934 in Ballinger, Texas. She married her high school sweetheart Grayum Savoy Hart July 15, 1955. Barbara lived most her life in Brown County and retired after a long career with GTE.
She is survived by two children, daughter Debra Anne (Phil) Mitchell of Rising Star, Texas, and Larry Fulton Hart (Connie) of Early, Texas; brother, Troy Stuart of Victoria, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Britt (Chae) Hart of Falls City, Texas, Trent (Kristin) Hart of Anahuac, Texas, Meghan Mitchell of Lubbock, Texas, Kyle Mitchell of Hobbs, NM, and Kasha (Michael) Clark of Lampasas, Texas; 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Merle Stuart, husband Grayum Hart, brother John Lee Stuart, and sister Betty Lou Lockett.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. The family would like to have donations in her name sent to Cherokee Childrens home.
