A grand opening and ribbon cutting was held recently for Three Chicks Treasures in Bangs. The store carries a variety of items from antiques and crosses to contemporary gifts.

The Bangs Business Association is open to all who are passionate about growth in the Bangs community.The next meeting of the organization will be June 7 at the Bangs Housing Authority (community center) building, located at 406 E. Spencer.
The BBA is in charge of the May 7 Mayfest parade and assists with other events in the community throughout the year. Lineup for the Mayfest parade will be May 7 at 9:30 a.m. on Gantt St. in Bangs.
