Brownwood News – The Brownwood Art Association held its annual Chili Lunch and and Small Art Sale, Friday December 8th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The lunch was held at the Brownwood Art Center in downtown Brownwood. The Chili Lunch is one of the Art Association’s biggest fundraising events every year.
The Brownwood Art Association has been holding the chili lunch as an annual fundraising event since 2006. The funds raised at the event go toward all of the community outreach events that the art association does, including the art education classes and monthly art demonstration that are all open to the public.
“Today was all about good fun, good fellowship, and good chili,” Brownwood Art Association President Jim Blake said. “It is the perfect day for this kind of event, 40 degrees outside and warm chili inside.”
