Part of U.S. Hwy 183 had to be closed Friday afternoon as crews battled a blaze at an auto repair shop in May.
The fire broke out at Kelton Automotive in May, which is located north of Brownwood and south of Cisco.
It took crews awhile to get a handle on the out-of-control fire. As you can see in the picture submitted by Thomas-Sandy Gregory on Facebook, quite a bit of damage was done.
Portions of U.S. 183 were closed due to heavy smoke spilling over the roadway.
No word on the cause of the fire at this time.
