Aurelio G. DeLeon, age 69 of Lake Brownwood, passed away December 25, 2012 in a local nursing home. Mr. DeLeon was born in Beeville County on November 27, 1943 to Natividad DeLeon and Paula Galvan . He was a farmer & rancher and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He was married to Rosa DeLeon and they had four children. He is survived by his wife Rosa of Lake Brownwood, sons Aurelio DeLeon, Jr. of Richmond, Tx. Omero DeLeon of Wharton, Tx. and daughters Lydia Turner & husband Leslie of San Saba, and Juanita Fuentes & husband Manuel of Brownwood. He is also survived by his mother, Paula Galvan of Hillsboro, 3 sisters, Carmen DeLeon of Mineral Wells, Lucy Jiminez & husband Domingo of San Saba, and Teresa Garcia & husband Jose, 9 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. DeLeon was preceded in death by a brother, Adolfo DeLeon, and his father, Natividad DeLeon.
Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood with cremation to follow. Blaylock Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
