Funeral Services for Aurelia A. Davis, age 95, of Brownwood will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at Worship Center Church at 506 Edwards Street in Brownwood with Bob Gumbert officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery near May, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
The Lord took Aurelia Arnold Davis home to be with him on January 23, 2012, at 9:10 P.M. She passed away in her home with family and friends around her. Aurelia was born on July 21, 1916, in May, Texas, to John and Zula Stubblefield.
She is survived by 1 brother, Manford Stubblefield of California; 1 daughter, Nancy Wyche of Brownwood; 1 son, Donald Davis and wife Marie of Brownwood; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons.
Aurelia is preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, husband J.R. Davis, 1 sister, 2 brothers, and 1 son, Charles Edward Davis. Condolences may be left for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
