Brownwood News – Members of the Brown County Sheriff’s Department responded to various calls and complaints over the weekend.  Information on each is below:

On July 6, at about 13:29, a deputy arrived at the Brownwood Law Enforcement Center at 1050 West Commerce in Brownwood.  This was in regards to harassment.  The deputy spoke to a woman who stated she had received an obscene photograph on her phone through a text message from an unknown white male.

On July 6, at approximately 22:42, units were dispatched to Pency Drive in Brownwood.  This was in reference to a disturbance involving several people.  A report will follow.

On Sunday, July 7, at approximately 16:26, a deputy met with a complainant.  This was in reference to an assault which had occurred the previous night.  The report will follow.

On Sunday, July 7, at approximately 19:20, a deputy met with a complainant at the LEC.  This was in reference to an assault report and investigation.  The report will follow.

On Monday, July 8, a Lieutenant met with a woman in regards to a residence and storage building being burglarized on County Road 156.  There are no suspects to list and a report was taken.
