Brownwood News – The Arts Council of Brownwood is now accepting Grant Applications for their 2017-18 fiscal year which begins September 1st. Applications must be submitted by August 1st.
The Arts Council provides funds to local non-profit organizations for projects that help to promote the arts, facilitate fine arts activities, encourage coordination between organizations, foster a love of the arts, and create cultural tourism in Brownwood.
To be eligible for a grant, organizations must be a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in good standing, must have been in existence for at least one calendar year, and must be based within the Brownwood area. Eligible projects must occur within the Brownwood area, must occur between September 1st and August 31st, and must be open to the public.
