OgelsbyArthurArthur Raye Oglesby was born on April 17, 1936, to Pascal Oglesby and Ethel Colburn Oglesby in Eastland, Texas. He married Barbara Ann Turvaville on October 8, 1959, in Littlefield Texas.  He had worked as a roustabout in the oil and gas industry before retiring.

Arthur is survived by his wife Barbara Oglesby of Bangs; one  son, Tracy  Oglesby  and  partner Wayne Williams of Fort Worth; two daughters, Tammie Turner and  husband John of  Bronte and  Tricia  Loman and husband Larry of Bangs.  He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pascal and Ethel Oglesby; daughter, Toni Warner; grandson Keegan Warner; brothers, Ernest Monroe Oglesby and George Edward Oglesby; sisters, Mary Joetta Odom Langford and Patricia Bassett Houser.
