Brownwood News – Arrow Child & Family Ministries (Arrow) is hosting a Community Open House and Ribbon Cutting to share about the impact Arrow is having on foster care in the local community. This Open House event will provide information regarding Traditional Foster Care, Foster-to-Adopt and will introduce Arrow’s new Professional Foster Care Program.

According to Arrow, the state of Texas has begun a new form of “Professional Foster Care,” and Arrow, a Brownwood foster/adopt agency, is one of the few agencies in the state asked to implement the program. Through this new program, a family can earn $4,300 per month tax free by providing a home for a foster youth who is currently in a residential treatment facility. At present, Arrow is offering the Professional Foster Care Program in the Brownwood and Abilene areas.

The Community Open House and Ribbon Cutting will occur on Thursday, October 24th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Arrow Brownwood office, located at 1 Center Avenue, Suite 200, Brownwood, TX.

During the Open House, Arrow staff will be available to meet and share more about the organization and its mission of “Helping Kids & Strengthening Families.”
