Brownwood News – Two subjects were arrested for Burglary on the latest report released by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
On August 19, 2019, at approximately 2:35 pm, a Brown County Deputy was dispatched to The Sportsman Center area, storage units on Belle Plain Street in Brownwood. This was for a possible burglary in progress. Once on scene, two male subjects were located and detained. Items were located on their persons which were later identified as being stolen from a storage unit. Both subjects were arrested for Burglary.
On August 18, a Sergeant was dispatched to the area of FM 2492 and FM 585. This was in reference to a report of Illegal Dumping. Dispatch received a call from a passerby stating there was a deep freeze dumped on the side of the road in the area with a bad smell coming out of it. A report was made.
