University of Texas Freshman safety Kenny Vaccaro won’t play Saturday against Colorado. However, this has nothing to do with the ex-Brownwood star’s arrest earlier this week.
Coach Mack Brown announced Wednesday Vaccaro will be out with a knee injury he suffered against UTEP a couple weeks ago.
Brown said Vaccaro’s arrest Tuesday for misdemeanor assault has nothing to do with missing Saturday’s game. The alleged scuffle occurred during a basketball game on campus.
Brown said Vaccaro’s legal issues have been dealt with internally by the coaches.
