Students from Brownwood and Early high schools performed Saturday in the ATSSB Region 7 Jazz Band concerts at Tarleton State University.
Karissa Means, Eddie Mares, and Adam Tipton from Brownwood as well as Ryan Contreras and T.J. Love from Early performed with Band I and Abe Cooper from Early performed with Band II. Each student was selected for the region jazz band after tryouts back in September.
Conductor for Band I was Kris Berg, Director of Jazz Studies at Collin Collage. Director for Band II was Luke McMillan from Wylie High School.
Each band performed several selections featuring solos by many of the area students.
