Local residents were among the new students to recently begin their fall 2014 semester at Howard Payne University.
Local students at HPU include:

Founded in 1889, HPU is celebrating its 125th anniversary during the 2014-2015 academic year. Students at HPU choose from more than 100 majors, minors and pre-professional programs in six schools: Business, Christian Studies, Education, Humanities, Music and Fine Arts, and Science and Mathematics. Additionally, the Guy D. Newman Honors Academy challenges students with a multidisciplinary curriculum and exciting travel opportunities.
HPU’s co-curricular organizations include the Model UN, Moot Court and Student Speaker Bureau, and more than 30 student organizations round out the university’s extracurricular options.
