Antonio Pina Moreno Sr., age 70, of Brownwood passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.

Antonio Moreno Sr. was born September 27, 1949, to the late Adan and Juanita Pina Moreno in Brady, Texas.

Antonio was a native Tejano born to a large family; he was one of nine children.  He was a hard-working man who loved to spend time with his family and loved ones. He was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, wood-working, and the Cowboys.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Yolanda Perez Moreno and their children and grandchildren: Cynthia Solis; mother to Elroy, John Paul, and Daniel Solis. Antonio Jr. and wife Abigail Moreno; parents to April, Stephanie, Anthony, Alex, Landon, Ramsey, Gareth, and Milo Moreno. Edward and Megan Wilson Moreno; parents to Ethen, Mia, Ian, & Sabina Moreno. J.D. and Raquel Gutierrez Moreno; parents to Brooklyn, Domingo, and Benny Moreno. Angela and David Rodriguez; mother to Arianna, Samantha, Jackson and Cooper Rodriguez. Jessica Moreno; mother to Conner and Ashlynn Moreno. They have 14 great-grandchildren together. He is also survived by his siblings:  Adan Moreno and wife Mary-Alice, Joe Moreno and wife Roslinda, Abel Moreno and wife Julie, and Teresa Burchett and husband Eddie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Juanita Moreno; 2 sisters, Maria Hernandez and Diana Moreno; 2 brothers, Arturo and Albert Moreno; and 2 great-grandchildren, John Paul Solis Jr and Xavier Solis.

Due to the nature of our current circumstances in our state of Texas, we will be having a memorial service at a later time when restrictions and the risk have lowered. We ask for your understanding and flexibility in this tumultuous time.
