Annie Myrl Gober went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the age of 94.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Richland Springs Cemetery.

She was born on December 23, 1919 in Richland Springs, Texas to Malcolm and Maggie Miller. She was the youngest of seven children. She married Robert Lee Gober and had two sons and four daughters. She lived in the Holt community for most of her adult life. She was a member of the Holt Baptist Church.

Annie Myrl had many virtues and outstanding qualities, but her dedication as a mother was what was most cherished by her children. She lived her life for her family and her home. She often said that her happiest days were when her children were little. Her life exemplified hard work, fortitude and faith. She was an avid gardener and tilled the soil until her late eighties. She was a talented seamstress and an excellent cook. Annie Myrl was of a generation who sacrificed and never complained, who were thankful for the simple things, and who never gave up when times were hard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Maggie Miller, her husband, Robert Gober, her sister, Alta Crouch, her brothers, Ray Miller, Burl Miller, Ralph Miller, B. F. Miller and George Miller. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Marc Huff and Charles Bland Gober, and two son-in-laws, Gary Larremore and Charles Gilbreath.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Gilbreath, Robert Lee Gober, Jr. and wife Mindy, Glenda Huff and husband Joe, Marsha Larremore, Bryan Gober, Bonnie Adams and husband Bill.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Teresa McAnally and husband Mark, Guy Gober, Amber Willson and husband Micheal, Michael Huff, Seth Adams and wife Nicky, Heather Adams, Dustin Larremore and Neil Larremore. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
