Mrs. Fuqua returned to her heavenly Home on Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
She was born on December 26, 1935, and shortly thereafter was adopted by Harry and Doris Bullock of Birmingham, England. Ann loved growing up in England, and was able to go back and visit several times during her life. It was there that she met and married Rodney Franklin Fuqua, a member of the 3919th Supply Squadron Air Base Group. They were married on May 1, 1954, in Birmingham, England and later had their marriage solemnized in the Mesa LDS Temple.
Ann and Rodney were able to live in Oklahoma, Texas, Morocco, Libya, and Greece while serving in the United States Air Force. Ann became a citizen of the United States on February 8, 1957, in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Ann and Rodney have five beautiful children together: Steven, married to Kathy; Michele; Denise, married to David VanNoy; Michael, married to Pamela; and Rodney.
Ann also had seven grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Ann loved taking care of them and cooking for them. Amy, Jessica, Stefanie, Tyler, Alexandra, Arianne, Zachary, and Rebecca.
Ann also has one great granddaughter, Avery. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved people and her life was one of service to others. Ann was able to serve a yearlong mission in Arkansas. Ann loved to go on walks, she loved shopping, but most of all, she loved her family and received great joy in caring for them.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother John and her husband Rodney.
