Anita Faye Turvaville, age 79, of Lake Brownwood, went home to be with her heavenly Father on Monday, March 30th, 2015.
Anita was born on February 4th, 1936 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Evert and Lela Owings Alexander and was raised in Littlefield, Texas where she met Leroy Turvaville. They were married in 1952, and resided in Littlefield until moving to Lake Brownwood in 1975. She was employed at Rotocast Plastics for about 12 years.
Anita is survived by her husband, Leroy Turvaville; a daughter, Teresa Wilson and her husband Mike Wilson, (formerly of Early, Texas), now residing in Killeen, Texas; a grandson, Christopher Sonberg, (formerly of Early, Texas), and his significant other, Kendra DeHaven and her son Bryden, all residing in Austin, Texas; a special neighbor and friend, Bill Walker, of Lake Brownwood; and many other friends, family and church family. She has been a long-standing member of Grace Baptist Church in Early.Mrs. Turvaville was preceded in death by her father, Evert Alexander, her mother, Lela Alexander, and a daughter, Pamela Turvaville.
Visitation for Anita Turvaville will be Wednesday evening, April 1st, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Heartland Funeral Home in Early.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2nd, at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church in Early, with Pastor Philip Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Bretzke, J.R. Hendricks, Jimmy Schwartz, Alex George, Mickey Oglesby and Clifford Dunn.
