A memorial service for Angela Sue Jernigan, age 51, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 11 AM. Friday, August 12, 2016 at Haven of Hope Church in Brownwood with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Friday prior to the service at Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home. Angela passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Abilene.
Angela was born on May 26, 1965 in Eastland, Texas to Luther and Bobby Basket Jernigan and was a graduate of 1983 graduate Cisco High School. She attended TSTC in Breckenridge and had previously worked as a nurse’s assistant. Angela loved music and loved sing. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren that she loved very much.
Survivors include her daughters Jennifer Parks and Britney Elms; sisters Barbee Howell and Petty Harris; brothers Larry Jernigen, Sr., David Jernigan and Bryant Jernigan; fiancée Tim Seider; grandchildren Jayden Fincher, Cattie Parks, Naomi Cruz, Zoey Cruz, Mikka Dauer and Mylee Dauer and by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.Preceded in death by her father Luther Barbee (Bud) Jernigan, mother Bobby Jo Jernigan, niece Devona Ann Jernigan, best friend Sabrina Price and many other loved ones.
Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
