Brownwood News – Brownwood Regional Medical Center has announced the addition of Andrew Thibodeaux, DO to the medical staff.
Dr. Thibodeaux is an Interventional Cardiologist who recently joined Heart of Texas Heart Associates located at 125 South Park Ste. A. He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Thibodeaux specializes in cardiovascular disease, coronary intervention, adult congenital heart disease, echocardiography and cardiac catheterization.
Dr. Thibodeaux received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Kansas City University College of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his Residency and Internship in Internal Medicine at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi and went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiology at Magnolia Regional Health Center, Corinth, Mississippi and fellowships in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel and their children, Kate, Andrew, Ava and Hannah. He also enjoys golf and sports in general.
Dr. Thibodeaux chose to become a cardiologist because he has always enjoyed working to repair things with his hands. Once he experienced saving lives in the catheterization lab, by opening up blockages with balloons and stents, he was hooked.
