The Pecan Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross will be hosting an Everyday Heroes Celebration Dinner on Thursday, April 22 to honor “everyday” heroes in our community.
The community is invited to nominate a hero that lives/works in the Brown, Mills, McCulloch and San Saba County areas. We are seeking nominations in 6 categories that include Fire, Law Enforcement, Military, Medical Response, Educator and a Youth Hero (18 and under).
Nomination forms are available at the Red Cross office at 600 E. Adams St. or online at www.pecanvalleyredcross.org. All nominations must be turned in to the Pecan Valley Chapter by February 1, 2010. All nominations will go before a committee and those chosen in each category will be awarded at the Everyday Heroes Celebration Dinner on April 22nd, Roy Spence, guest speaker.
