Memorial Services for Amber Diane Corley, age 30, of Early will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Richardson East Church of Christ (1504 East Campbell Rd, Richardson, Texas 75081) with Lt. Larry Lowe officiating; interment will be private at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Amber went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 11, 2016. Loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend; who will be deeply missed.
Amber was born to Mike and Sheryl (Compton) Corley on April 23, 1985 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Richardson Berkner High School in 2003. After high school, Amber attended Howard Payne University.; she graduated in 2014 with honors. While at Howard Payne University she received the Excellence in Education award. Amber taught Spanish at Brownwood High School.
Amber had an incredible smile that could light up a room and she had compassion for people. She was very artistic and passionate about soccer. Her two sons, John and Josh were her world.Amber leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons, John and Josh Hill of Early; parents, Mike and Sheryl Corley of Early; brother, Russell Corley of Plano; paternal grandmother, Maydell Corley of Keller; maternal grandfather, Troy Compton of Brownwood; and cousins, Amy, Ashley, Parker, Brooke, Matthew, Kaitlynn, Rebecca, Jeff, David, Jennifer, and Nealon. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Margaret Compton; paternal grandfather, Sid “Big Daddy” Corley; and aunt, Jeanette Jeffers.
