Alvin L. Isom, age 70, of Brownwood died Friday at the Brown wood Senior Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Benny M. Allcorn officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday in the Moody Cemetery in Moody, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Alvin was born September 14, 1942 in Moody, Texas the son of the late Edmond Alvin and Alton Bearden Isom. He married Betty Brink Southern in Brownwood on August 25, 1995. She preceded him in death. He worked for Superior Cable for 25 years retiring in August 2007. He was a Baptist and had lived in Brownwood for the past 30 years.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Debbie Aaron of Brownwood and Kaycie isom of Frisco2 sons – Keith Isom of Fort Worth and Floyd Edenfield of Henderson
9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
