Funeral services for Aldris Huggins Parson will be Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church Brownwood, Texas. Interment will follow at the Bangs Cemetery Bangs, Texas. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 P.M. at Heartland Funeral Home Early, Texas. She passed away Saturday in Brownwood, Texas.
Aldris was born April 2, 1930 in Bangs, Texas to Theron and Nina Mathis Huggins. On November 1, 1952 she and Henry E. Parson were married at the Bangs First Baptist Church. Aldris was a lifetime resident of Brown County. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than fifty years.
She is survived by two sons Gary and wife Gale Parson of Llano, Texas. Ken and wife Lanell Parson of Bangs, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren;
Amy and husband Alton Theiss if Whitney, Texas, Jill Parson of Llano, Texas, Theron Parson of Ft. Davis, Texas, Kelton Parson of Bangs, Texas and Hannah Parson of Bangs, Texas, one great-grandson Walker Theiss of Whitney, Texas. Her sisters Bernice Shipp of Llano, Texas and Louise Lykins of Bangs, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Aldris is preceded in death by her husband Henry E. Parson, her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
