Albert Gonzales, age 59, of Brownwood passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, October 8, 2016.
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Jenkins Springs Cemetery with Jeff Dean officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Albert was born August 29, 1957, to Mike & Marta (Reyes) Gonzales. He grew up in San Saba, and graduated from San Saba High School in 1976. He then began a 40-year career with Kohler Co. as a caster and later became a Team Leader taking him all over the world sharing his expertise. He prided himself on his strong work ethics and team building skills.
Albert was an avid sports fan; he loved his San Antonio Spurs. He loved all animals, especially his pets.Albert is survived by his wife Lisa Gonzales of Brownwood; children, Chris Aguirre and wife Melissa of Weatherford, Jennifer Larson and husband Justin of Brownwood; mother, Marta Gonzales of San Saba; 3 brothers, Avilio Gonzales, Mario Gonzales and wife Helen, and David Gonzales all of San Saba; sister, Alicia Salinas and husband Cruz of San Saba; grandchildren, Christian, Cadynce and Presley Aguirre. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Gonzales, Jr. and grandparents.
