Albert Jody Musick or AJ as everyone knew him, 90, of Blanket, TX passed away at his home in Blanket, TX December 19, 2018.
AJ was born September 23, 1928 in Taylor County, TX to Henry & Sadie Brown Musick. AJ married Helen Kirk on September 23, 1949 in Odessa, TX and they made their home in Blanket, TX since 1960. Their Union was blessed with 3 sons. AJ worked in several different careers through the years from brick & tile laying, farm & ranching, to operating heavy equipment, building fences and shredding bar ditches and caring for paved roads for over 19 years. He is a well-known horse lover and a hardworking man. He was a Baptist living in the Salt Creek area.
AJ is survived by his son, Joe and wife Sabrena Musick of Blanket; a daughter-in-law, Janice Musick of Blanket, 4 grandsons & 5 great grandkids; nieces, nephews and many friends.
AJ was preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen; 2 sons, Ricky David and Eddie Musick; his parents Henry & Sadie Musick; 4 brothers, Earl, Troy, Audrey & Howard Musick; 1 sister Dorothy Lynn.
A visitation is planned from 6-8 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Heartland Funeral Home and a Funeral Service will be 10 AM, Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the Heartland Funeral Chapel, 303 Early Blvd., Early, TX 76802.
