A memorial service for A.L. “Al” Murray, age 70, of Brownwood, will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Victory Life Church.
Al passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his home.
Al was born on March 8, 1946 in Kingsville, Texas to Roy and Vivian (Barnes) Murray. He graduated from Menard High School. He worked for Brownwood Regional Medical Center as a maintenance technician for over 40 years. Al was very gifted in art and music. He also held several technical certifications through his occupation.
Al is survived by two daughters, Angela Bishop and husband Joey and Melissa Murray, all of Brownwood; two grandchildren, Seth and Caris Bishop of Brownwood; a sister, Donna B. Rogers and a brother, Roy L. Murray and numerous nieces and nephews.
Al was preceded in death by his parents.The family requests memorials be made to Victory Life Academy, 901 C.C. Woodson, Brownwood, 76801.
