The students of the Latch Key Program had the opportunity to see an ambulance and helicopter up close this week. AirEvac and Guardian EMS made a visit to the program to talk to the children about their vehicles and what they do as well as let the children tour them.
The children were allowed to get in and sit down in the helicopter as well as the ambulance and ask questions about what they saw and learn a little bit about how things work.
The crew for both vehicles are in the left of the picture, from left to right, Guardian EMS driver Robert Rogers, AirEvac Pilot Tim Mulhall, Medic Stephanie Wood, Medic Jackye McAnn and Nurse Mark Dent.
Latch Key is a United Way organization.
