Graveside Services for Adorine “Irish” Longley, age 85, of Brownwood will be held Tuesday October 30, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Father Francis Njoku officiating. She passed away Friday October 26, 2012 in Brownwood, Texas. Adorine was born on February 11, 1927 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Thomas and Mazie (Mangner) Donahue.
Adorine was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, she loved children, and had many friends; she was always there to help those in need. Adorine also enjoyed traveling, walking and fishing.
She is survived by a son; Jay Longley of Brownwood; a daughter, Karen Bennett of Frisco, Texas; 2 grandchildren; Lance Bennett and Kori Bennett both of Frisco, Texas; also a beloved pet, Missy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Adorine is preceded in death by her parents; Thomas and Mazie Donahue; her husband, Ted Longley; a son, Tommy Donahue; and 2 sisters; Marie Donahue, and Donna Lou Hart.
