Adam Christopher Ray – beloved son, father, brother, and friend – of Early, Texas chose to be with his God and Savior on October 2nd, 2017 at the age of 41.  Born June 2nd, 1976 in Fort Hood, Texas; Adam was a graduate of Early High School and a gifted self-taught Master Welder, Engineer, and Entrepreneur.  As an avid hunter and outdoorsman Adam found beauty in the world as well as all people he encountered within it.  His vibrant smile, lively personality, and riotous sense of humor brought light, love, and laughter to his family, friends and co-workers.  Adam recovered from a troubled past and resurrected himself as a pinnacle of strength and love for his family.

He is survived by his Father and Mother; Richard, Sr. and Mary Ray, his children Trevor Ray and Kayleigh Ray; his brother Byron Ray and his sister-in-law Alia Ray; and his nieces Phiona and Anabelle Ray.  His remains are to be cremated, directed by the care of Davis-Morris Funeral Home, and taken to a final resting place in the state of West Virginia, home to the Ray family and a destination he wished to call home in the near future.  A service of remembrance will be held at Milton Avenue Baptist Church Tuesday, October 10th at 11:00 a.m.
