According to officials at Hendrick Medical Center, the man who was involved in the motor vehicle accident and transported by air ambulance Tuesday remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Contrary to initial reports that the victim was an “elderly male,” Brownwood Police reports identify the driver as 50-year old Stanley Arledge of Brownwood. The cause of the wreck was listed as possible medical issues, the wreck causing incapacitating injuries.
Arledge remains hospitalized at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene where he is reported to be in critical condition. A Facebook post from his daughter asks for prayers for Arledge and his family and states that “he will be in the hospital for the next two weeks or so.”
