The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce is set to open the 6th Annual Spring Business Showcase at the Brownwood Coliseum on Thursday, April 4th from 10 AM -6 PM to show off the best of local businesses.
The show has been expanded this year offering more vendors, exhibitors, fashion shows, and fun.
“In the past, the spring business show focused mostly on seasonal activities such as outdoor recreation, gardening, and home improvements,” said Missi Malone, Director of Member Services for the Chamber. “This year to allow better exposure for all participants, the show has been moved to Thursday and includes businesses of every type.”
The theme for 2013 is “Rock the Red Carpet” and will host over 60 vendors with booths decked out to reveal their favorite movie of all time. Fashion shows will begin at 11:00 AM with Bon Worth, Maurices at 2:00 PM, Dazzling Diva’s at 3:00 PM.Door prizes will be given out each hour, compliments of participating vendors, and at the end of the day; visitors who play Expo BINGO will be eligible to win one of the Grand Door Prizes. Visitors to the show who complete a BINGO card will be eligible to win a 32” Flat Screen TV from Aaron’s Sales & Lease, a Wooden Patio Set from Bob’s Fuels or a handmade Rocking Chair from McMillian Rustic Furniture.
The showcase is sponsored this year by Affiliated Bank and Higginbotham’s – ACE.
Complementary advance passes are currently available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce office (600 E. Depot). Admission on the day of the show will be $2 for adults and free to kids 10 and under.
