The streets of downtown Brownwood were lined with rodeo fans  during  the 51st Annual Brown County Rodeo Parade Saturday morning.

Dozens of entries made up this year’s parade.  Cowboys and cowgirls on horses, beauty queens, public officials, cheerleaders and many supporting businesses rode horses, ATVs, floats, along with new and antique vehicles.

Saturday night will be the final performance of the rodeo, which will begin at 8:00 PM at the Earl Q. Wilson Arena/ Brown County Youth Fair Grounds on Hwy 377 S.  Tickets at the gate are $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12.

The Brown County Rodeo dance will close out rodeo week Saturday night.  This year’s dance will feature Zach Edwards at the Brown County Youth Fair Lamb Barn from 10PM – 1 AM.  Dance tickets are $12 at the door with no cooler charge. Doors open for the dance at 9 PM.
