“We’re going to start a new tradition here at the sheriff’s department where we recognize employees,” said Brown County Sheriff Vance Hill on Wednesday morning at the Law Enforcement Center. “And what better way to start this tradition than right here with Brian Lundy.”

“For your dedicated 20 years of service,” said Sheriff Hill as he presented a plaque to Deputy Lundy. The sheriff also stated Deputy Lundy’s tireless dedication and hard work are truly appreciated.

“I’m one of the lucky guys,” said Lundy.

Sheriff Hill addressed attendees, noting that other individuals had also served for 20 years or longer, and that he had plans to recognize them as well.

“I do appreciate each and every one of you,” said the sheriff.
