Brownwood High School Automotive and Building Trades Classes received an unexpected shipment. The local 3M plant donated two pallets worth of 3M products for BHS shops to use. The products are primarily finishing supplies, like sanding belts and pads of various sizes and uses.
Auto Tech teacher, Dean Crofford, and Building Trades teacher, Cody Smith, were very thankful to 3M for the supplies. In times when budgets are being tightened, every additional help is appreciated. “It’s great that local businesses think about our school system when they have extra supplies,” said Mr. Crofford. Students were appreciative for the supplies as well. Advanced Auto Tech student, Joan Burks, commented, “The auto class is a very good class, and you can have a lot of fun working here.”
