The 2017 Brown County Youth Fair market goat division wrapped up events on Thursday. The show began at after lunch and finished up in the evening. Grand and reserve champions were awarded as well as a showmanship award.

The judge for the day was Chad Coburn of Sterling City, Texas.  Coburn has been the county extension agent there since 1996. He judges all species across the U.S. and has judged many major goat shows in Texas. Coburn received his B.S. and Masters degrees in Beef Cattle Production from Angelo State University.
