The 62nd annual Brown County Youth Fair horse division judging took place on Saturday morning.
The judge for the event was Danyelle Hemphill of Coleman County. Hemphill grew up with horses and during college at West Texas A&M, was very involved with the equine and judging programs. She currently stays involved in the beef cattle and equine breeding and training portion of her family’s ranching operation in Coleman County. Hemphill is the director of the Coleman County Cowgirls Equestrian drill team and is formerly a Miss Rodeo Texas.
Division superintendent Julie Gribble managed the ring during the event. Gribble has been a mentor with the horse club for many years.
