The Brownwood High School class of 2014 would like to thank the Brownwood/Brown County community for helping put on Brownwood High Project Graduation 2014.
“We live in a very giving and tremendously helpful town and the night was huge success because of area businesses,” said 2014 Brownwood High School Project Graduation President Kristi Owen. “We were able to entertain our kids with casino tables, bounce houses obstacle courses, a movie room, a game room, a hypnotist, Bingo games with prizes, a cash cube, a cash cab, music and volleyball-dodge ball games.”
Owen explained that the event provided many exciting prizes for attendees. Throughout the evening the parent volunteers/organizers were able to provide door prizes to lucky winners which included three bigger prize drawing times.“I am proud to say our committee only purchased four prizes (four mac-books) that were bought outside of Brownwood. All other prizes bought for the evening were from Brownwood merchants,” stated Owen. “Several merchants donated prizes, or matched prizes bought.”
The 2014 BHS Project Graduation event was held after graduation, providing an alcohol and drug free environment for graduates to celebrate their completion of High School.
