Brownwood High School honored the Class of 2013 during commencement Friday night at the Brownwood Coliseum.
There were 192 graduating seniors who walked the stage and BHS Principal Bill Faircloth said that the class will have a lasting impact on the school.
“Brownwood High School was a better place because you were there,” he said to the class.
The top graduates from Brownwood High School this year are Valedictorian Alex Hernandez and Salutatorian Meredith Underwood. Each addressed their fellow graduates and those in attendance.
Special recognitions were given to students completing dual credit courses during their high school careers, and those graduates entering military service were honored with recognition and a standing ovation.
