Planning for the 2012 Brownwood Reunion Celebration is in full swing, and organizers began distributing the promotional posters on Monday to start marketing the event.
With the tag line “Let the good times roll” and a 1980’s theme, Brownwood’s biggest event of the year will feature some great entertainment, exciting competitions, and a big weekend of fun in September.
This year, Rick Springfield will be the highlight for the Friday night concerts while country music’s Wade Bowen will headline Saturday. Tickets for the concerts will go on sale in July and be $15 for a weekend pass.
Activities and attractions announced for this year’s event include a Brownwood’s Got Talent competition, classic car show, 5K/10K run, magic show, and much more.
This year’s Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held September 14, 15, and 16. The community-wide festival features a variety of contests, events, attractions, music, and food in addition to the main concerts.
