The Girl Scouts of Central Texas will honor women of the area who have made significant contributions to the community during their annual Women of Distinction luncheon. Honorees each year are chosen based on their philanthropic, civic and professional efforts and are also chosen because of their ability to be role models for Girl Scouts. Past recipients have included women honored for excellence in the areas of business, education, government, communications, health care, sports, volunteer services, multicultural activities, and Girl Scouting.
The Girl Scouts of Central Texas are looking for women who are role models for all of their members, girls and adults alike, showing them that with hard work and perseverance, anything can be accomplished.
