Each year, Girl Scouts of Central Texas honor women from this area who have distinguished themselves as outstanding members of their community and who can serve as role models to all Girl Scouts – girls and adults alike.
This week all nominees were the first to know who the five women selected to be recognized as “Women of Distinction” were through a letter sent out earlier this week.

In the coming days, biographies and photos of these special ladies will be published as they are released.
Landmark Life Insurance Company has also be selected to be recognized as a Distinguished Workplace for Women.
The Girl Scout of Central Texas will honor these ladies in a celebration luncheon that will be held at the Howard Payne University Mabee Center on March 30.
