The 48th Annual Brown County Rodeo Parade kicked off rodeo events Saturday morning in Downtown Brownwood to the delight of spectators who lined the streets.
The parade included floats from around the region along with antique vehicles, tractors, riding clubs, decorated vehicles, bikes, and an array of other entries. Awards were given for several entries in the parade this year. A full list of awards and photos will be posted soon.
The parade is a tradition each year on the Saturday of rodeo week. The Brown County Rodeo concludes Saturday with the last round of riding events at the Earl Q. Wilson Rodeo Arena and the dance featuring the Josh Abbott Band at the Brownwood Coliseum.
