The crowning of the 2010 Miss Brown County Youth Fair was the opening attraction at Saturday night’s premium sale. The four beautiful young ladies, escorted by their fathers and one “favorite uncle” took center stage.
Danielle Denbow – Bangs FFA; Richelle Hair – Early FFA: Courtney Murray – Brownwood FFA; and Peyton Pittmann – May FFA, 4-H, & Brownwood Rabbit Club were the candidates this year. Each was judged on personal achievements, public speaking, fashion, and given ranking according to how many Youth Fair Memberships they sold during October through January’s show. Together they sold over $30,000 in memberships.
After naming the many prizes the winner would receive, Danielle Denbow took home the crown. A very emotional Denbow managed to keep her composure as her proud family came forward for photos.
