District Attorney, Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

  • Jesse Wayne Crouch pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to Thirty (30) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Joseph Western Holt pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to Twenty-Eight (28) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Holt pled guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jason Bailey pled guilty to the felony offenses of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Twelve (12) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jose Segovia pled guilty to two separate felony offenses of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Buddy Eugene Allgood pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Ten (10) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Lawrence Darnell Harling pled guilty to three separate Assault Family Violence-Enhanced offenses and was sentenced to Seven (7) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.
  • John Curtis Weyerts on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver was adjudicated and sentenced to Seven (7) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Robert Dwayne Burch, on probation for the felony offense of Theft over $20,000 under $100,000 was revoked and sentenced to Six (6) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Michael Robert Goulart pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Abel Ray Perez pled guilty to two separate felony Assault Family Violence-Enhanced offenses and was sentenced to Four (4) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Truman David Harper, on probation for the felony offense of Falsely Holding Oneself out as a Lawyer, was adjudicated and sentenced to Four (4) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Cameron Blake Money, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of Marihuana-Drug Free Zone was adjudicated and sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Patricia Dawn Ford, on probation for the offense of Forgery was adjudicated and sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
