Brownwood ISD Press Release – Thirteen (13) Brownwood High School (BHS) Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) qualified for the state conference after competing in the area contest in Copperas Cove earlier in February.
“We are so tremendously proud of them,” said BHS Health Science Teacher and HOSA Advisor, Annalyn Deen. “We have our very first State Officer Candidate from Brownwood High School, Miss Emily Chapa.”
Deen noted that they also have their first official middle school HOSA chapter. “They will be attending state this year as well and have about 18 students competing,” stated Deen.
The state HOSA competition will be held April 12-14 at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX.
